CU Denver Art Practices Club
CU Denver’s Art Practices Club strives to provide student members with the opportunity
to engage in the exploration and advancement of their personal art practice while connecting
with the Denver art community. Our club provides students with access to mentorship,
collaboration opportunities, and educational outings. These opportunities guide students,
increasing knowledge of technique and career building skills, helping prepare them for a
successful career in the arts after graduation. The development of and participation in exhibitions is core to helping promote our club’s values of building community, professional development, and experiential learning, making our relationship with Pirate Contemporary Art invaluable.
As a constantly evolving group of artists, we sponsor guest artists, workshops,
demonstrations, art sales, and pop-up exhibitions. The CU Denver Art Practices Club (formerly CU Denver Sculpture Club) has been a long-standing member at Pirate Contemporary Art with several of our past members transitioning into Associate and Full co-op members. Our club regularly holds fundraisers so that we may continue to provide educational opportunities to our members. Any donations are greatly appreciated!
