The Artist
Eli West is an interdisciplinary artist whose practice has an emphasis on textiles, specifically felting techniques. In 2021 they received an MFA in Applied Craft + Design from the Pacific Northwest College of Art. Eli’s practice is a painterly, garish, and joyful reflection on a queer human experience. They primarily work with wool and other fibers to create wall hangings, sculptural pieces, and soft abstractions with a high level of detail and precision. Their studio is currently based out of 40 West Arts District in Lakewood Colorado.
