RICK DALLAGO is a painter, film producer, and arts instructor/consultant. He was raised in NYC, lived in LA for 30 years, and relocated to Colorado in 2019. His paintings are often satirical & humorous. He considers himself a “snarky- Norman

Rockwell.”

As a producer, his films include: BLUE CRUSH, CRAZY/BEAUTIFUL, INTO THE BLUE, CHEATERS, TURISTAS, & THINGS BEHIND THE SUN—nominated for 5 Emmys; winner of the Peabody & Edgar Allen Poe Award. Prior to producing, Rick worked in various production capacities on FATHER OF THE BRIDE 1&2, THE DOORS, CITY SLICKERS 2, BABY BOOM, THE PICKUP ARTIST, ISHTAR, etc.

Now, as an active arts educator and consultant, I mentor emerging artists in both technical skill and creative voice, often drawing from my decades of experience in the entertainment industry. My workshops and private instruction cover everything from painting technique to portfolio development, marketing, and navigating galleries and art fairs.
